Anonymize and stay compliant with Pandektes Redact

At Pandektes, we anonymize hundreds of court decisions every month. Each case document must be carefully handled to ensure it stays compliant, with personal data redacted, parties protected, and the integrity of the decision preserved.
We’ve been doing this work internally for a long time until we decided to build an intelligent system for it. Now we’re opening it up to everyone.
Meet Redact
Redact is our AI-powered anonymization tool for legal documents. It has been in use inside Pandektes to help build and maintain our legal database, and today it becomes available as a standalone product for law firms, courts, and other legal teams.
The results speak for themselves: Redact cuts the time required to anonymize a document to about one third of what it takes manually, while delivering higher quality and greater consistency than a manual process.
Our system was built on top of the highest data privacy standards to make sure every organization can use it.
What makes Redact different
Anonymizing legal documents is not a simple find-and-replace task. Personal names, addresses, company names, and identifying case details appear in unpredictable positions and formats throughout a document. A tool that simply pattern-matches common name formats will miss references, produce inconsistent redactions, and require significant human review.
