In two years, we’ve already established ourselves as a game-changer in legal research. Traditionally, legal professionals have relied on cumbersome, fragmented systems to find relevant case law and statutes. We have disrupted this norm by developing an AI-powered assistant that enables lawyers and legal teams to quickly identify legal precedents from a vast collection of verified sources. Our platform has already been widely adopted by leading Danish law firms, in-house legal departments, and public authorities, proving its effectiveness and necessity.

The seed round is led by People Ventures, a Danish venture fund founded by the Zibrandtsen family, and Berlin-based Interface Capital, established by former founders of Pitch and Blinkist. Both investors see enormous potential in our innovative approach to AI-driven legal research.

When Casper and Søren founded Pandektes in October 2022, many industry insiders doubted whether a new player could compete in a market dominated by incumbents with decade long monopolies. However, we brought a fresh perspective, unburdened by traditional legal industry norms.

“Neither Søren nor I came from a legal background, and that gave us an advantage,” Casper explains. “We approached the industry with a learning mindset, speaking with lawyers to understand their biggest pain points in legal research. From day one, our goal has been to build a smarter, faster, and more effective way to access legal knowledge.”

Since our inception, we have prioritized the highest quality legal data and AI-driven research methodologies. We have already achieved remarkable milestones, securing an earlier angel investment round of DKK 6 million and serving +100 clients across multiple countries.

With backing from prominent business angels—including investors with experience in Aiia, Peakon, Penneo, Blinkist, Pitch, and Onomondo—we are now poised to further cement our place as a modern, trustworthy alternative to traditional legal research platforms.
